Travis Kelce‘s girlfriend, pop superstar Taylor Swift, recently relaunched her highly anticipated “Eras Tour,” with three sold-out shows at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium. The concerts drew a star-studded crowd, including not only Kelce‘s brother, former Eagles star Jason Kelce, but also other high-profile figures such as Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, a well-known Swift fan.
Portnoy attended the second night of Swift‘s Miami concerts and shared an interesting observation on a recent episode of Barstool Sports’ “Taylor Watch” podcast.
Former NFL player could be dating one of Swift’s backup dancers
Alongside co-hosts Kelly Keegs and Gia Mariano, he discussed a new theory, claiming that one of Kelce’s close friends, former NFL player Ross Travis, might be dating one of Swift’s backup dancers.
“I asked him if he had been at a show before, he was like 14,” Portnoy stated.
“I would guess he is [dating a dancer] because why else would you show up alone? I mean, I get you like Taylor Swift, but you’ve seen her 14 times and you show up alone in Miami? [It seems] a little weird, so yeah that may be it.
“He’s always with Travis but for him to show up without Travis being there… there’s another reason he’s there.”
Travis, who played tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs from 2015 to 2017, has been spotted frequently with Swift over the past year.
He’s become a familiar face in her suite at Arrowhead Stadium during Chiefs games, often seen mingling with her entourage.
While it’s unclear which of Swift’s dancers Travis might be romantically linked to, the speculation is gaining traction due to the amount of time he spends with Swift, thanks to his friendship with Kelce.
