The Kansas City Chiefs once again have clinched a spot in the NFL playoffs but it was not as expected, as the Las Vegas Raiders, the last team to beat them in their home stadium made them suffer.
It was a 19-17 final score at the end with a team from Sin City that came from behind to take the lead in the fourth quarter but the Super Bowl champions took advantage of the Raiders’ mistakes.
Fumbles, penalties and pretty much what we’ve seen from the Raiders in the last 20 years was seen and it came to nobody’s surprise. The only surprising thing is that the Chiefs gave them a chance.
A decade of playoffs
The Chiefs’ victory clinched the AFC West title for them and a playoff spot for the tenth consecutive season. And maybe because of their ability to overcome some mistakes is that they are a great team.
Last year they did not look good and they were lacking a go-to wide receiver, even with that problem they managed to win the Super Bowl and in this season it has been Patrick Mahomes who has not looked as himself.
It does not matter as Andy Reid has coached this team very well in order to continue dominating their division and their conference. People can only wonder how this dynasty team can continue to dominate even when they seem to have an off day.
