Colorado football coach Deion Sanders was on ‘The Tonight Show’ with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday in New York. He made his appearance as part of a national tour to promote his new book titled, “Elevate and Dominate.”

Sanders is known for his motivational speeches that he gives primarily to his college players. Fallon surprised Deion when he pulled out a life-size photograph of Jason Kelce and invited him to give him a speech now that Jason has retired from theNFL. The coach asked for somber music and began his speech, “Jason, you come to the end of the road, baby. But guess what?”

“Coach Prime” expressed his fondness and appreciation for Jason Kelce expecting him to be much more controversial, much more him now that he retired from the NFL.

“I want you to be as controversial as you ever wanted to be on your podcast. I love, I appreciate you. But baby, it’s time for you to really be.”

During the interview Jimmy Fallon asked him about Sanders’ last year coaching his sons in college football. Deion assured that it will be an “emotionally difficult” year since “he has trained them since they were babies.”

Shedeur Sanders is the quarterback for the Colorado Buffaloes, while his brother Shilo plays safety. It looks like Shedeur could be the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft next year. Although it could be a rumor like Fallon said, Deion doesn’t understand why it would be rumors, “he should.”
