Deion Sanders responds to Cowboys’ interest after call from Jerry Jones

The Dallas Cowboys are in search of a new head coach following the departure of Mike McCarthy, and one intriguing name has entered the conversation-Deion Sanders.

Currently the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, Sanders has gained attention for his impressive transformation of the college program.

A call from Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has fueled speculation about Sanders potentially returning to the NFL, where he made his mark as a star player during his career.

Sanders, who played for the Cowboys from 1995 to 1999, has a storied history with the organization.

His dynamic personality and proven leadership in Colorado have made him an appealing option for several NFL teams, but the connection to Dallas adds an extra layer of intrigue.

Reacting to Jones’ interest, Sanders expressed a mix of gratitude and curiosity. “To hear from Jerry Jones is truly delightful, and it’s intriguing,” Sanders said, according to a post by Adam Schefter.

“I love Jerry and believe in Jerry. After you hang up, and process it, and think about it, it’s intriguing. But I love Boulder and everything there is about our team, the coaches, our student body, and the community.”
