A career of consistency and leadership
Known for his durability and dependability, Bolles has started all 112 games he has played in Denver. His breakout 2020 season, during which he earned second-team All-Pro honors, marked him as one of the league’s premier offensive tackles.
This season, Bolles continues to shine. Over 476 pass-blocking snaps, he has allowed just one sack and 24 pressures, ranking him among the top tackles in the NFL. His sack percentage of 0.2% and quarterback pressure rate of 4.9% are the second-best in the league for players with at least 200 pass-blocking snaps.
Offensive Coordinator Joe Lombardi praised Bolles for his growth and impact. “I think he’s really stepped it up this year. The continuity of the offensive line working together has made a big difference, and Garett is a huge part of that.”
Looking to the future
While Bolles has achieved individual success, his sights are set on team accomplishments. As the Broncos aim for a potential playoff berth in 2024, Bolles remains focused on contributing to their resurgence. “It means the world,” Bolles said of the team’s progress. “All I wanted to do was win here, at the highest level, and play in the biggest games. This season feels special, but there’s still work to do.”
Bolles credits the offensive line’s chemistry and dedication for the Broncos‘ improvements. He also emphasized his personal commitment to health and recovery, ensuring he continues to perform at his peak.
As Bolles reflects on his journey, he appreciates the opportunity to define his legacy in Denver. “I didn’t start off the way I wanted to here, but I get to finish how I want to. Being a Bronco for life means everything to me.”
With Bolles firmly in place, the Broncos‘ offensive line has a steady anchor for the future.
