AHouston Rockets fan shocked everyone in attendance at Toyota Center when he drilled three consecutive shots from the free throw, three-point line, and halfcourt in consecutive order.

The amazing feat was celebrated on the court by the team mascot, who is aptly named “Clutch”.

The NBA’s official social media account shared video of the feat and basketball fans from across the nation didn’t hesitate to jump in and congratulate the Rockets aficionado.

Some even went as far as to suggest that the league make changes to the contests because they are becoming too easy to win.

“NBA teams will have to change the challenge. Fans keep winning these halfcourt shot challenges” one chimed in.

“That’s awesome! Hope gets to do something cool with it,” another one said.

An NBA fan also entered the chat with a cheeky comment implying the contest was rigged with only two words: “Magnet balls”

Halftime fan contests at sporting events are a staple of professional leagues.

Every night, random fans are selected of the stands to take part in contests that test their skill and promise a prize, sometimes a big one, if they’re successful.

Halfcourt shooting contests in the NBA are among the most popular across the four major pro leagues..

According to SCA Promotions insurer, a fan has 1 in 2 chances of making a free throw, 1 in 7 of making a 3-point shot, and 1 in 50 of making a halfcourt one.

As for the game, the home team ended up with a much needed 118-106 win over the San Antonio Spurs.

Amen Thompson scored 25 points and eight rebounds while Jalen Green added 21 points and seven rebounds.
