Jason and Travis Kelce took a playful jab at Elon Musk during their New Heights podcast as a response to Musk‘s attempts to troll Taylor Swift over her political support of the Democratic party.
On their popular podcast, the Kelce brothers couldn’t resist poking fun at Musk‘s much-hyped Cyber Truck. Jason Kelce led the charge with a humorous dig.
“A little nervous, because there’s a lot of stuff out there that Cyber Truck short circuits going through car washes. I don’t know if you saw that.” Jason commented.
This was a sore point for Musk, given the recent skepticism about the Cyber Truck’s durability and performance.
Travis Kelce joined in the hilarious critique of the Cyber Truck
Travis Kelce, known for his quick wit, followed up with a playful remark.
“I don’t read on the Cyber Truck news. Why’s that?” he asked.
This quip showcased his nonchalant attitude towards the truck’s issues, setting up Jason for a deeper dive into the truck’s rumored problems, whilst also appearing to defend his girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
Jason Kelce elaborated on the Cyber Truck’s issues.
“I think it’s like they didn’t seal something properly or something like that, but it did rain once, and the car door kept opening when I parked it until it dried,” Jason declared.
“They had to rush them out? I took them like three extra summers to figure it out,” Travis retorted.
The Kelces‘ playful commentary stands in stark contrast to Elon Musk‘s bizarre reaction to Taylor Swift‘s political endorsement.
Recently, Swift publicly supported Vice President Kamala Harris and urged her fans to vote, challenging misinformation. Musk’s response on Twitter was both unusual and provocative.
“Fine Taylor, you win … I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life,” Musk posted.
