LeBron James breaks another NBA record and becomes the second player with most wins

LeBron James continues to solidify his legacy as one of the greatest basketball players of all time. In his 22nd NBA season, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar added another milestone to his storied career, surpassing San Antonio Spurs legend Tim Duncan for the second-most combined career wins (regular season and playoffs) in NBA history.

The Lakers snapped their three-game losing streak with a commanding 119-101 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night. The win not only lifted the team’s spirits but also marked LeBron’s career-best streak of four consecutive triple-doubles this season.

The 39-year-old forward’s sixth triple-double of the season was a testament to his remarkable form. His consistency and leadership have helped the Lakers maintain an 11-7 record so far this season.

All-time wins leaderboard

LeBron has moved into second place for combined career wins in the regular season and playoffs. With 1,159 victories to his name and counting, LeBron is now behind only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who remains the all-time leader with 1,228 total wins.

Abdul-Jabbar‘s record is bolstered by six NBA championships and a staggering 1,074 regular-season wins, which remains unmatched in league history. LeBron, with 928 regular-season and 231 playoff wins, has surpassed Tim Duncan, who sits in third place with 1,158 total victories. Robert Parish and Karl Malone round out the top five, with 1,121 and 1,050 career wins, respectively.

While Kareem‘s record remains a towering achievement, LeBron has an opportunity to close the gap with 64 games left in the regular season.

The Lakers will look to build momentum after their win against the Spurs as they prepare for their final NBA Cup group-stage game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

With LeBron in peak form and the team eyeing playoff contention, the season holds plenty of potential for both individual and team milestones.
