We are a couple of weeks away from witnessing for the first time in history live NFL games on Netflix. That’s right, football and Christmas are coming to the streaming platform
In May, the NFL and Netflix signed a historic three-year deal for the streaming platform to broadcast Christmas games; this year’s doubleheader will be followed by at least one game in 2025 and 2026
It’s no secret the world that Netflix is exploring with live events, as they recently had the boxing match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson. A year ago they signed a 10-year, $5 million deal with WWE to broadcast Monday Night RAW starting in January 2025
For this Christmas edition, the Kansas City Chiefs will face the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1:00 p.m. ET (10:00 a.m. PT), followed by the Baltimore Ravens against the Houston Texans at 4:30 p.m. ET (1:30 p.m. PT)
It seems that they want to start off on the right foot in American soccer, as they have drawn up a luxury list with all the talent that will be in the games contributing their comments.
In addition, a few months ago it was announced that Beyonce would perform live at the NRG Stadium in Houston for the halftime show in the Ravens vs Texans and she was confirmed on Tuesday.
