Rough night for Jalen Hurts raises questions about his standing among NFL quarterbacks

There’s no sugarcoating it: the Philadelphia Eagles were handed a crushing defeat, and the performance of last year’s Super Bowl MVP has reignited the debate over whether Jalen Hurts is truly an elite NFL quarterback.

Eagles security guard goes viral after double take at DeVonta Smith’s fiance

This might have been the worst game of Hurts’ career. Philadelphia had a real chance to improve its record, but instead they head home with fresh questions swirling around the offense.

Jalen Hurts’ alarming stat line

Eagles fans have every reason to be worried. Nick Sirianni’s team was in position to steal the win, but Hurts was picked off for the fourth time – matching the total number of interceptions he had thrown in his previous 26 games combined.

The final numbers are brutal:

  • 248 passing yards
  • 4 interceptions
  • 1 lost fumble
  • 0 touchdown passes

If there were concerns before, they’re screaming now. The defending NFC champions have dropped three straight in a row after recent losses to Dallas and Chicago. Next up in Week 15: a trip to face the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Eagles turned the ball over five times, while the Chargers finished with three giveaways.

Barkley managed just 78 combined rushing yards in losses to the Cowboys and Bears before bouncing back with 122 yards on 20 carries, marking only his second 100-yard game of the season. His best outing came on Oct. 26 against the New York Giants, when he ran for 150 yards.
