Stephen Curry’s brutal series of practice shots: It’s mesmerising stuff

Team USA is already training in Las Vegas ahead of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, and there is a lot for their opponents to fear.

In fact, in the early hours of Wednesday morning, they will play their first warm-up game against none other than Canada, the team that beat them at the last World Cup in the battle for bronze.

You only have to look at the US squad to get an idea of the many fearsome weapons they have, but there are a few that immediately stand out.

One of those is undoubtedly Stephen Curry and his deadly shooting. It didn’t take long for the Golden State Warriors star to prove that the FIBA three-point line is almost a layup for him.

He gave a tremendous performance in a practice session in which he didn’t miss a single shot.

Curry will be one to watch in Paris

Curry will be one of the great stars of the basketball tournament in Paris, not only because he is a member of Team USA, the number one favorite for gold, but also because he is one of the great NBA icons of the last two decades and one of the NBA players with the biggest following on the planet.

The Golden State Warriors recently shared photos from the first day of practice on Instagram, capturing the camaraderie and excitement of the team.

The initial photo featured Curry and James together, with Curry sporting a broad smile even in the middle of a drill, while James appeared more focused.

This glimpse into their dynamic sparked joy among fans and family alike, including Steph’s mother, Sonya Curry.

Sonya Curry couldn’t help but share her excitement about the post. She revealed an adorable similarity between Curry and James that most fans might not know: both NBA stars have daughters who love to play volleyball.

“Volleyball dads!! I love it,” she wrote.
