Frenchman Victor Wembanyama and Chris Paul on Monday gave their signed jerseys to the children of Los Angeles Lakers coach JJ Redick, who lost the house he was renting in Southern California due to the wildfires that are surrounding the city.
At the end of the game, which the Spurs won 126-102 at the Lakers’ court, Paul and Wembanyama handed Redick’s sons their jerseys and signed them, before exchanging a hug with the coach.

“In the NBA you have a lot of people you know, that you love. Some are like brothers and Chris is one of my brothers. He called me and told me that he and Wemby would give shirts to the children, both in case of victory and defeat,” Redick told the press conference after the game.
“He known them to be big NBA fans. (Before the fires destroyed their home) they had all their trading cards, the players used to give them their jerseys. They had a collection of jerseys and player cards and lost all that. I appreciate all the love we’re getting,” he added.
