Travis Kelce has long been underpaid relative to the NFL’s other top tight ends. Even though Kelce has had an immeasurable impact on turning the Kansas City Chiefs into a juggernaut, the franchise had not been paying him at a level commensurate with his contributions to the Chiefs’ Super Bowl dynasty.
That’s all changed, with Kansas City reaching an agreement with agent Mike Simon to extend Kelce’s contract following the 2024 NFL Draft. The new deal leaves no doubt as to how highly Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes, and the Chiefs franchise continue to value the 34-year-old.
