As the Chicago Sky star attended several Magic games, the rumors grew. Wendell wearing Angel’s Reebok jersey and sneakers also stood out.
In addition, he spoke about their connection last month on “Run It Back” with Chandler Parsons. While careful with details, he still gave fans something to interpret: “That’s the homie for sure,” he said. “We locked in. Y’all gonna find out when y’all need to find out. We’ll just leave it at that. That’s my girl, though. We locked in for sure.”
In the same vein, after the game against the Knicks, which they lost 106-100, Angel shared photos of her outfit with the caption “WAG: Work And Glam,” redefining the term used for players’ wives and girlfriends, while validating her personal achievements. However, this raised suspicions among fans once again.
Now, the former LSU player also shared a photo of her decorated Christmas tree with her followers on her Instagram stories: “16 days,” she wrote alongside an excited emoji and another with heart eyes. She also added the song It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas by Michael Bubl as background music.

However, what caught the attention was the decoration: two ornaments with the numbers 5 and 34 on it. Coincidentally, these are the numbers she and Carter wear on their jerseys.
This can be interpreted as a simple coincidence, a friendly gesture, or a sign that their relationship is on good terms.
Meanwhile, neither of them has officially shared their plans for Christmas, so for now, everything remains in the realm of speculation. However, it would not be surprising if any new details fueled the idea that the two basketball stars might be spending the holidays together in a special way.
