2026 Golden Globes winners

2026 Golden Globes winners

In the pecking order of awards shows, there always seems to be a space near the top of the list for the Golden Globes. While they’ve faced more than their share of scandals—to the point that it once looked like their time had come and gone—they’ve managed to work their way back to the forefront of pop culture. For proof of that, one need only look at the fact that pretty much every big star in Hollywood was present at the ceremony tonight, which is once again hosted by Nikki Glaser.

The show was pretty solid over all, with Glaser once again striking a nice balance between being cutting—albeit in a good-natured way—and reverent toward the many A-listers in the room. She fired off some great one-liners, including calling The Rock and Kevin Hart the Steve Martin and Martin Short for people under fifty, which made both pairs of BFFs cackle.

She also landed a HUGE dig at CBS News, calling it “see BS news,” despite the fact that the show is airing on CBS. Glaser made a predictable joke about Leonardo DiCaprio dating younger women before admitting the only reason she went for the old standby is that nobody seems to know a thing about him. She also delivered a killer joke about Sean Penn, suggesting that as he gets older, he’s slowly morphing into a “sexy leather handbag.” She got her digs in, but none of them were very mean – but she actually managed to be pretty funny.

Overall, the winners were fairly predictable, with One Battle After Another and Hamnet dominating the film categories, while Timothee Chalamet continued his nearly perfect awards season record of wins for Marty Supreme. Here are all the winners:
