2026 NFL Offseason Schedule: When do the league’s 32 teams begin training camp?

The NFL has released its official 2026 offseason schedule, providing clarity on when each of the league’s 32 teams will begin their preparation for the upcoming season.

These start dates mark the beginning of structured voluntary workouts, which are the first step in a multi-phase program designed to get players ready for training camp and the regular season.

The offseason program is divided into three phases.

  • Phase One focuses on meetings, strength training, and rehabilitation work, giving players the chance to recover and build conditioning.
  • Phase Two introduces limited on-field drills with no live contact, allowing teams to implement schemes and start practicing together in a controlled environment.
  • Phase Three includes Organized Team Activities (OTAs) and mandatory minicamps, which bring players together for on-field practice sessions to refine techniques and establish team chemistry.
