LeBron James goes human and reacts to Lakers’ third loss to Nuggets in unexpected way

The Los Angeles Lakers find themselves in a familiar and uncomfortable position, trailing 0-3 against the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the NBA playoffs. LeBron James‘ side now face the daunting task of winning four straight games against the defending champions.

With their backs against the wall, the Lakers, who lost 112-105 in Game 3, must summon all their strength and resilience to mount a historic comeback.

LeBron James turns back on Anthony Davis after he let the Lakers down

“You just take it one game at a time, at this point,” James said.

“You lose, you go home, so you come out with the mindset, let’s get one. Force a Game 5, and then we go from there.

“As long as you still have life, then you always have belief. I just think you play until the wheels fall off. That’s what it’s always about, for me.”

This isn’t the first time the Lakers have faced adversity against the Nuggets. Just a year ago, Denver swept them in the Western Conference Finals, and now, they’ve extended their winning streak against the Lakers to 11 games.

“At the end of the day, it’s just basketball,” James added.

LeBron and Davis netted a combined 59 points

Nikola Jokic led the charge with 24 points, 15 rebounds and nine assists, supported by strong performances from Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon, and Michael Porter Jr.

Meanwhile, the Lakers’ James and Anthony Davis delivered solid performances, scoring 26 and 33 points, respectively, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Nuggets’ balanced attack.
