Devin Booker and Kendall Jenner share an intense online moment that has fans going wild

They say where there’s smoke, there’s fire. At least in the case of Devin Booker and Kendall Jenner, the saying seems to hold. More than two years after their breakup, the former couple shared a moment online that led many to believe the flame of romance could be rekindled at any moment.

The relationship between the Phoenix Suns star and the supermodel generated a lot of buzz in early 2020 when they were spotted on a road trip to Sedona, Arizona.

The couple managed to keep a low profile for almost a year, until February 2021, when they made their relationship Instagram official. From then on, Booker became part of the Kardashian clan.

To the disappointment of fans and paparazzi, the couple broke up in November 2022 due to scheduling conflicts. However, they have remained very close, as demonstrated by their recent flirting on Instagram.

Kendall’s commercial and Devin’s message

Recently, Jenner appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to premiere her new Super Bowl commercial. This time, the model collaborated with Fanatics Sportsbook.

The company shared the full clip on Instagram, generating hundreds of interactions, including an unexpected response from Devin Booker: “I bet a million the Seahawks get that ring before you do @kendalljenner.”

The four-time All-Star’s message references what Jenner says in the commercial, about “no one getting a ring in this house.” The phrase directly connects to the so-called “Kardashian Curse.”

Not one to stay silent, Jenner responded to the jab with her own, “How’s the ankle?” That’s when things got heated, as the player replied, “Come rub it.”

Booker and the Kardashian Curse

During the interview with Fallon, Jenner explained that the commercial pokes fun at the so-called Kardashian Curse. The online narrative claims that any athlete who dates one of the women in the Kardashian-Jenner family experiences a decline in performance.

Hence, the line Kendall says in the commercial, referring to championship rings, which the Suns star then turned into a joke about Jenner not having received a wedding ring.

Booker’s closing line, talking about the ankle massage, was just another hint that set fans and media ablaze with speculation about a possible rekindling of their high-profile romance.
