Donald Trump’s government responds to Bad Bunny’s “fuera ICE” at the Grammys: “It’s very ironic”

Bad Bunny was the clear winner at the 2026 Grammy Awards. During his speech, the singer took the opportunity to launch an allegation against the latest ICE actions: “Before I say thank God, I’m going to say get out ICE. We are not savages, we are not animals, we are human and we are American.” His words, which resonated strongly in headlines around the world, were answered by Donald Trump’s government.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt hit out at the Puerto Rican’s message and also singled out other artists and celebrities. “I think it’s very ironic and frankly sad to see celebrities who live in gated communities with private security and millions of dollars to spend on protecting themselves trying to demonize public servants who are tasked with law enforcement and defending America,” she told the media.

Karoline Leavitt went further and recalled that this type of message did not occur before: “You didn’t hear this kind of proclamations from Hollywood stars when the previous administration (Joe Biden, whom she did not name) allowed an invasion of our country’s borders and young women were murdered and raped by people who should have been here. ICE does its job, getting violent predators out. It’s the irony we’re seeing in Hollywood.”

Trump criticizes Grammy host: “Trevor Noah is almost as bad as Jimmy Kimmel”

The president of the United States criticized the Grammy host on his social networks. “Trevor Noah, whoever he is, is almost as bad as Jimmy Kimmel. Noah said, incorrectly, that Donald Trump and Bill Clinton were on Epstein’s island. I can’t speak for Bill, but I’ve never been to Epstein’s island, or anywhere near it, and until the false and defamatory statement, I’ve never been accused of being there, not even by the fake news media. Noah is a complete loser. He better get his facts straight, and get them straight fast. Looks like I’m going to send my lawyers to sue this poor, pathetic, talentless, stupid host and sue him for a fortune.”
