TreVeyon Henderson has revealed that he recently got married, sharing the news quietly as the New England Patriots get ready for their first Super Bowl appearance since the 2018 season.
The rookie running back, who has been a central part of New England‘s postseason run, disclosed the news during an appearance on The Walk Podcast on February 2.
Known for keeping his personal life out of the public eye, Henderson surprised listeners with the announcement.

“We got married. We made it official. We got engaged first, and then we eloped and made it official,” Henderson said.
Henderson‘s revelation comes at a remarkable moment in his career. Alongside quarterback Drake Maye, he has formed the backbone of a young Patriots offense that has powered its way to Super Bowl LX.
While Maye‘s family life has drawn attention throughout the season, Henderson has largely stayed in the background off the field, making his decision to speak now particularly striking.
A private milestone before football’s biggest stage
The identity of Henderson‘s wife has not been made public, and the running back has offered only a small glimpse into their relationship.
In November, he shared a photo of the couple following their engagement, paired with a message rooted in faith: “‘Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.’ Proverbs 31:30”.
On the field, Henderson has been anything but low profile. His blend of power and explosiveness has been vital to the Patriots‘ resurgence, giving balance to an offense led by Maye.
Together, they have helped the New England Patriots exceed expectations and reach the Super Bowl for the first time in nearly a decade.
New England now face a daunting task against the Seattle Seahawks, who enter the matchup as slight favourites.
For Henderson, the challenge is as much about handling the moment as it is about production. Rookie seasons rarely end on football’s biggest stage, and fewer still come with such personal change happening in parallel.
