In a bit of an odd moment, San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama was prompted by a media member if he will cry when James retires. Wemby didn’t want to go that far, but he did admit things will be much different without King James.

“No. I’m not gonna shed a tear, but it’s going to be very weird, for sure.“

The NBA has already started transitioning to new players being the faces of the league. Even the Los Angeles Lakers have treated Luka Doncic as their main franchise player, not James.
