Ryan Garcia may have had his epic win over Devin Haney soured by cheating allegations, but the celebrations have continued to rage on nearly a month after the fight at the Barclays Center.
This week, Garcia has taken the party to Saudi Arabia. Seemingly there to negotiate a potential future fight with promoter Turki Alalshikh, Garcia took the opportunity while in Riyadh to go watch Cristiano Ronaldo play for Al Nassr.
Ryan Garcia gets mobbed by Al Nassr supporters
Al Nassr faced off against Saudi Pro League champions Al Hilal, the team to which they finished as runners-up. Garcia took time during the game to sign autographs for kids at Al-Awwal Stadium.
Despite an incessant child attempting to steal the Al Nassr shirt off Garcia’s back, he continued to sign then went back to his luxury seat.
Once the game finished, Garcia met up with Ronaldo’s 13-year-old son, Cristiano Jr. He “sparred” with Junior’s friends, then snapped a picture with the soccer legend’s son.
All in all, it seems like Garcia’s trip to Saudi Arabia has been an overall success. He’s staying active and in the public eye, as he looks to keep his momentum going following the Haney victory.
