Sullivan most recently served as a senior offensive assistant at Rutgers, where he contributed to offensive game planning and player development. While that role expanded his broader understanding of offensive strategy, his background is deeply rooted in quarterback coaching.
Over the course of his career, Sullivan has held the quarterbacks coach title on multiple occasions, giving him direct, hands-on experience in mentoring players at the position that often defines a team’s success.
His NFL rsum includes several notable stops. He previously worked with the New York Giants in two separate stints (2010-11 and 2015), as well as with the Denver Broncos in 2018 and the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2021 to 2023.
In addition to his quarterback-focused roles, Sullivan has also held coordinator positions, including offensive coordinator duties with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2012-13) and the Giants (2016-17). His coaching career dates back to 2002, reflecting more than two decades of experience in the league.
