Even during the NFL offseason, the Mahomes family had a reason to celebrate as Zoe Claire Mahomes marked her 12th birthday on April 12. The younger half-sister of Patrick Mahomes was honored in a heartfelt social media tribute from her father, Patrick Mahomes Sr.
Posting on Instagram, he shared a warm birthday message along with a collection of family photos showing Zoe in action at soccer matches, enjoying time with loved ones, and attending Kansas City Chiefs games to support her older brother.
“Happy 12th birthday to my Zoe Claire,” Mahomes Sr wrote on Instagram, “I love you baby.”
Young athlete growing in sports-focused family
Zoe Claire Mahomes is already building her own identity as a promising young athlete, with soccer at the center of her development. She plays for Sting 14G Pre-ECNL Flynn, a competitive youth club based in Richardson, Texas, where she is mainly positioned as a central midfielder but also contributes as a forward when her team needs attacking energy.
Known for her confidence on the ball and improving game awareness, she has been steadily developing through structured youth competition.
One of her early standout moments came at just ten years old, when she scored a hat trick for her school team, a performance that highlighted her natural attacking instincts and ability to influence games at a young age.
Her sporting journey extends beyond school and club soccer, reflecting the athletic environment she has grown up in. Zoe has also explored flag football, a sport gaining popularity across the United States, and once appeared in a social media clip playing quarterback, a subtle nod to the position that made her brother famous.
These experiences show her willingness to experiment across different sports while continuing to build core athletic skills such as coordination, decision-making, and leadership on the field.
Support from her family has been a consistent part of her development. Her father, Patrick Mahomes Sr, a former Major League Baseball pitcher, has regularly attended her games and shared moments from her sporting journey, including photos of trophies she has earned.
His public birthday tribute also emphasized pride in her progress, adding to the wave of congratulatory messages that followed online.
As the youngest in the family, born in 2015, Zoe shares a wide age gap with her half-brother, Patrick Mahomes, but remains closely connected through family moments and appearances at Kansas City Chiefs events.
