Former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady‘s illustrious 23-year career saw him win a record-breaking seven Super Bowl titles.
His extraordinary achievements set the bar high for all quarterbacks who followed.
Recently, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes won his third Super Bowl at just 28 years old.
This remarkable feat at such an early stage in his career has sparked widespread debate. Many fans are now speculating whether Mahomes could eventually surpass the legendary Brady.
After Harrison Butker‘s controversial speech at Benedictine College, Mahomes showed his support for Butker.
“There are certain things he said that I don’t necessarily agree with,” Mahomes said.
“But I understand the person that he is, and he’s trying to do whatever he can to lead people in the right direction. It might not be the same values that I have.
“But at the same time, I’m gonna judge him by the character that he shows every single day. And that’s a great person, and we’ll continue to move along and try to help build each other up to make ourselves better every single day.”
Then, Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer highlighted a Chiefs staff member’s perspective on this topic, comparing Mahomes to Brady.
“Pat‘s similar to Brady in that way,” the staffer said.
“He’s just got a knack for saying all the right things, and things that never cause any division in the locker room.”
Leading their teams to glory
Brady and Mahomes have both been pivotal to their teams’ successes. Brady earned six Super Bowl titles with the Patriots and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
In contrast, Mahomes has led the Chiefs to three championships so far, boasting half as many NFL MVP and Super Bowl MVP awards as Brady.
