Right now it seems like there is nothing Patrick Mahomes can’t do, with the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback winning the Super Bowl three times and cementing himself as one of the greats, with a lot more of his career to go.
A sporting career never goes on forever, though, and Mahomes will be giving a small amount of thought as to what he is going to do when the American football career comes to an end.
Winning the Super Bowl sees you get a trip to the White House to meet the incumbent president and now that Mahomes has been three times, he knows his way round.
Mahomes the White House tour guide
As per Fox4kc’s Sports Anchor Harold R Kuntz, Mahomes feels very comfortable about the White House and became something of a tour guide for the players that hadn’t visited before.
“It was cool that you kind of knew what to expect. So you get here, I am showing guys pictures on the wall. I’m showing paintings, some old furniture, everything. I felt I was trying to be a tour guide at some point,” Mahomes said.
“So it was cool for that and to be on the stage and just get to look out, you see the Washington Monument and all the other things. It was a cool moment. Hopefully, I get to come back again. I appreciate it every single time.”
It is always a favorite moment of the season for fans to see their stars walking around the White House, and after president Joe Biden was pictured wearing a Chiefs helmet, many fans labeled them ‘America’s team’.
