Larry Allen Net Worth: How much money did the former Cowboys star make?

Larry Allen, a Dallas Cowboys icon and one of the best offensive linemen in NFL history, died Sunday while vacationing with his family in Mexico. He was 52 years old.

Allen played 14 seasons in the NFL, all but two of them with the Cowboys — who selected him in the second round of the 1994 draft. Allen was an imposing, versatile guard who was named a first-team All-Pro each season between 1995 and 2001, and he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2013.

What is Larry Allen’s net worth?

Allen, an 11-time Pro Bowl selection, amassed a net worth of roughly $22 million following his successful NFL career. His 12 seasons in Dallas saw him become an elite lineman and the anchor of a successful offense that boasted stars like Troy Aikman, Michael Irvin, and Emmitt Smith. That group won Super Bowl XXX together in 1996 — the only championship of Allen’s NFL career.

Allen began his career as a guard and moved over to left tackle full-time after the 1997 season, continuing to perform at a high level. In 2002, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones inked Allen to a six-year extension worth $37 million, although the franchise released him in 2006. He retired in 2009, signing a one-day contract with Dallas to retire as a Cowboy.

Allen’s career earnings over 14 years were north of $40 million, and his status as a Cowboys legend was set in stone after the franchise inducted him into its Ring of Honor in 2011.
