The Jacksonville Jaguars have agreed to terms with Trevor Lawrence on a five-year, $275 million contract extension.
The deal, reported by NFL Network InsiderIan Rapoport, includes $200 million in guarantees, with $142 million fully guaranteed at signing.

Lawrence led Jaguars to 2022 playoffs
Lawrence, now 24, was approaching the fourth season of his rookie deal, with Jacksonville having exercised his fifth-year option earlier in the offseason.
Since joining the Jaguars, Lawrence has shown promise and potential, though his career has experienced some ups and downs.
In 50 regular-season starts, he has completed 63.8% of his passes, accumulating 11,770 yards, 58 touchdowns, and 39 interceptions.
Notably, Lawrence led the Jaguars to an AFC South title and a playoff victory in 2022, earning a Pro Bowl selection in the process.
Despite a challenging 2023 season marked by injuries, Lawrence’s overall performance has demonstrated his capability as a franchise quarterback.

Until Week 13, Lawrence had a completion rate of 67.9% with 14 touchdowns and seven interceptions, in addition to four rushing touchdowns and four fumbles.
However, in his final four games, his completion rate dropped to 60%, with seven touchdowns, seven interceptions, and three lost fumbles, coinciding with the Jaguars’ exit from playoff contention.
Lawrence’s 2022 breakout season remains a highlight, though he did experience a slight regression last year.
His completion percentage and touchdown rates declined, while his sack and interception rates increased.
Nevertheless, Lawrence remains a valuable asset for Jacksonville, showcasing an aggressive playing style and significant arm talent.
Despite only having one consistently effective receiver last season, he ranked 12th in the league for air yards per attempt at 8.0.
