Kevin Durant challenges Justin Bieber’s ex-bodyguard: He doesn’t believe the claims

Kevin Durant‘s offseason talk has been about whether he will be traded from the Phoenix Suns but now the conversation as shifted after the NBA star decided to call out Justin Bieber‘s ex-bodyguard for some outlandish claims online.

Kenny Hamilton, hired to protect the globally famous musician when he was 14, decided to show off his basketball skills on Instagram before adding he might be better than Durant at hitting the target.

But the iconic athlete was quick to shut the talk down as he replied with a decisive, “Imma need footage next time brother!!”, clearly not believing his friend’s efforts on the court as he demanded proof.

Hamilton currently works as the head of the CHS Group after working as a talent manager and head of security for Bieber when he was a teenager and beginning to breakout into the music scene which he dominated through the 2010s.

Rockets want Durant

Durant is regarded as one of the greatest NBA players of all-time and one of the finest power forwards to ever take to the court and even at the age of 35, he still produces impressive stats that catch the eyes of franchises throughout the league.

In 2023/24, he averaged 27.1 points per game (fifth most), 6.6 rebounds per game and five assists per game showing how lethal he is as he approaches the twilight of his career as a pro baller.

That output, according to Bleacher Report, has attracted the attention of the Houston Rockets as they also weigh up the likelihood of recruiting Jimmy Butler, Brandon Ingram or Mikel Bridges, although the Suns are in no mind to trade him.

If the cannot collect Durant, second pick in 2007, they will turn their attention to the Miami Heat‘s Butler. He wants a two-year $113m extension in Florida but Pat Riley isn’t keen to offer it so he could seek for new pastures.
