As it celebrates its 34th anniversary, Rocky Mountaineer is embracing a new chapter with a generational shift in leadership. The renowned luxury train operator, a cornerstone of family-owned tourism enterprises, announces the appointment of Tristan Armstrong as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Tristan, the progeny of the company’s founder, Peter Armstrong, embodies the fusion of legacy and innovation at the helm of the organization.

Tristan’s journey to this pivotal role has been marked by a broad spectrum of experiences within Rocky Mountaineer, ranging from operational functions to guest relations, which have furnished him with invaluable insights into the company’s diverse facets. Moreover, his leadership as president and CEO of Major Rock Corporation underscores his multifaceted expertise in steering the Armstrong family’s business endeavors, encompassing sectors from hospitality to real estate and philanthropy through the Armstrong Family Foundation.
