While Patrick Mahomes was away with the Kansas City Chiefs at training camp, his wife Brittany Mahomes made a troubling discovery of a dead body in the back yard. If that wasn’t scary enough, Brittany was forced to take action when their kids got a little too close to the creepy corpse. She captured the whole scene on her Instagram story.

“What the hell is this thing,” the 28-year-old says while marching toward the cadaver in question.

After comparing it to the size of her hand, Brittany’s motherly instincts kick into high alert when her children enter the scene.

“Hey, don’t touch that!” she says to someone who is not in the frame. It’s unclear whether she was talking to 1-year-old Bronze Mahomes or 3-year-old Sterling Mahomes. It could have also been one of the Mahomes’ dogs, Steel and Silver.

Mahomes mansion under threat again

It has been an uneasy summer at the Mahomes family mansion, with unwanted animal intruders causing chaos on multiple occasions. They seem to come around when Patrick is out of the house, leaving his wife and soon to be mother of three Brittany on her own to defend their home.

Mama Mahomes already has a lot on her plate, like dealing with Bronze’s unusual eating habit and helping Sterling get comfortable on her first sports team. Patrick and Brittany recently announced they are expecting their third child, another baby girl.

Hopefully by the time No. 3 comes around, their house won’t be full of so many spooky surprises.
