Renowned R&B and Hip-hop artist Jane Handcock is set to release a new EP titled ‘A Few Sappy Songs’ on Gala Music, according to Gala News. The much-anticipated release will drop on August 23rd at 1pm PT.

Exclusive NFT Tracks

‘A Few Sappy Songs’ will feature five new tracks, each available as NFTs. The tracks will be limited to 100 digital copies each, making them a rare addition to any music collection. Jane Handcock, a key member of the original Gala Music artist crew, has a history of sold-out tracks on the platform.

Early Access for Dedicated Fans

Fans who have reached Level 2 in Jane Handcock’s Loyalty Pool by locking their $MUSIC tokens will gain early access to the EP at 12pm PT, one hour before the general public. To qualify for early access, fans must unlock this benefit by 5pm PT on August 22nd.

Tracklist and Themes

The EP features the following tracks:

  • Track 1: ‘Melancholy Shit’ – A song about sadness, written during a melancholic period.
  • Track 2: ‘Whatever You On’ – A song about decision-making, inspired by a need for answers from a lover.
  • Track 3: ‘You Hurt My Feelings’ – A heartfelt track about dealing with hurt feelings from a lover.
  • Track 4: ‘Gimme a Vibe’ – A vibe-centric song written to uplift the artist’s spirits after a tough time.
  • Track 5: ‘Fly Me Away’ – A reflective track co-written with Ian Kelly, expressing a desire to escape.
