The relationship between Kayla Nicole and Travis Kelce ended two years ago under unclear circumstances. Since then, the model and influencer has moved on with her life and projects. However, there is something she has not forgotten from those times: Her love for football.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end dated Nicole between 2017 and 2022. The relationship began with Kelce flirting with her on Instagram, ending quietly five years later, although people close to the model say it was she who ended the relationship.
Although Nicole broke up with the player, that does not mean that her love for football has ended, as she demonstrated in a recent post on her account on X (formerly Twitter).
Kayla is still a football fan
Nicole was a regular at Chiefs games during her on and off romance with Kelce. Although she no longer shows up at stadiums, there’s no doubt that the fitness model is keeping an eye on the NFL, as on Thursday, she tweeted: “lol. Gotta love football.”
The brief post coincided with the Chiefs’ 27-20 win over the Baltimore Ravens, which marked the 2024 NFL season’s kick-off.
The model’s message generated an immediate response from her followers, with messages like “Kayla, I genuinely miss seeing you at the Chiefs games! I hope all is well for you,” and “1-0! Let’s go.”
However, the post also attracted the attention of the fans of Taylor Swift, Kelce’s current girlfriend, who dedicated some hurtful phrases to the model. “Taylor Swift’s net worth 1.1 billion or more idk even,” and “Ur an alpha Taylor’s sigma Keep waddling,” among other more hurtful ones.
Nicole has moved on
While Kelce began dating Swift in the summer of 2023, Kayla hasn’t been linked to anyone after the player, at least not as publicly.
The model has dedicated herself to continuing her work as an influencer and fitness model, cultivating her fan base on social media, especially on Instagram.
With the 2024 NFL season just getting underway, it remains to be seen whether Kayla is willing to continue showing her support for the Chiefs, despite the undeserved hatred from a section of the fan base.
