Tyler Badie collapses on sidelines at Broncos game vs. Jets in terrifying scenes

A tense moment occurred during the Denver Broncos‘ game against the New York Jets on Sunday when running back Tyler Badie unexpectedly collapsed on the sideline, requiring medical assistance and ultimately stretched off the field. The incident took place following a hit to the back from Jets linebacker Quincy Williams, which caused a fumble that the Jets recovered.

Initially, the play seemed routine, and Badie managed to make his way to the sidelines without showing signs of distress. However, shortly after, the broadcast returned from a commercial break to reveal the young player lying on the ground as medical staff attended to him.

According to the broadcast, Badie had movement while being treated, which provided some reassurance to those watching. He was then carefully placed on a stretcher and taken off the field by a medical cart. As of now, no further details have been released regarding the condition of the 24-year-old running back.

“Only thing I know is I just saw him on the ground crying,” Javonte Williams told The Post after the game.

“I don’t really know what happened or how it went down, but I know ‘T.B.’ is strong.

“He’s a fighter, he’s a warrior and he’s going to be alright. We’re all praying for him and I know he’ll get back and help us out.”

Badie’s journey

Badie, who was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, was later signed by the Broncos from the Ravens‘ practice squad. He’s been an active member of the Broncos since then. Over the current season, Badie has made a solid contribution with 11 carries for 86 yards. During Sunday’s game, before his collapse, he caught two passes, though both resulted in negative yardage.
