Travis Kelce receives a flurry of job offers from strip clubs for his ‘Banana Splitter’ in Grotesquerie

Travis Kelce‘s banana splitter is catching the eye of strip clubs around the United States as they rush to offer the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end a job following his impressive acting debut in FX’s Grotesquerie show.

The tight end starred as a nurse named Ed Laclan in the horror show, who previously worked as a stripper, as he flirted with Detective Lois Tryon (Niecy Nash) and revealed he “rocked a banana hammock with the name ‘Big Peter and his Banana Splitter,'” in his previous job.

Kelce‘s character also went on to make a subtle nod to Taylor Swift by discussing the type of pop tarts he likes just one year since the Eras Tour sensation baked some for he and his Chiefs‘ colleagues.

But fans were swept up with the idea of the 35-year-old as a stripper and it turns out that so as some male adult entertainment establishments as TMZ Sports reports they’re willing to offer him roles to reprise the character in a slightly different way than he was probably expecting.

Travis Kelce can rock his banana hammock on our stage,” said the manager of The Kings of Hustler, Brittany Rose, to TMZ Sports. “I’m sure that all the Vegas Swifties will want to catch a glimpse of what Taylor is working with behind the scenes. You know he’s given her a private show.”

However it isn’t just the one club looking to book in Kelce, or rather Laclan, for a night with several others also calling for the footballer’s services.

“I think the audience would go wild for a little NFL meets thunder magic!” Thunder From Down Under’s co-owner, Adam Steck, told TMZ Sports.

Whilst Girls Night Out: The Show said, “[We] would love to extend an open invitation to Travis Kelce to reprise his role as Ed Lachlan on Grotesquerie and heat up the stage with us.”

Kelce praised for his role

The footballer-turned-actor took on the task of consoling Detective Tryon at the hospital after she has a fight with her husband’s career as the pair strike up a chemistry by flirting together, to which Kelce got lots of acclaim.

He has been interested in working in television and film for some time, previously taking a role as a producer, before now turning his talents to acting as he left the show’s director, Ryan Murphy, who also worked with the Academy Award-winning Kathy Bates, impressed.

“A star is a star is a star-and he’s a star,” Murphy said to E! News. “He’s so charismatic, and he’s so smart.

“He’s lovely. He had a window of time. He asked me to work up something for him. I did. It was an honor.”
