The New Orleans Saints are having big trouble. They started the season with two straight wins but not they have fallen on four straight weeks as the Denver Broncos defeated them on Thursday night.
Derek Carr has not been active with an injury, and rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler has to be calling shots on offense after further notice. He has shown proof of his talent but it is hard with a team that struggles like the Saints do.
Rattler showed his frustration and everyone all over the world could see it, as he was caught on camera saying, “What are we doing?” after head coach Dennis Allen called a timeout with four seconds left in the first half down 16-3.
Frustration has mounted
On that play the frustration had already pilled up early in the game, as a few plays before, New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara was tackled in the middle of the field and he was visible frustrated.
The team had gotten the ball back with 16 seconds left and it seemed pointless to try and get something going with so little time in the clock, so nobody was understanding exactly what Dennis Allen was doing as there was not much time to move the ball.
The Broncos dominated all phases of the game after a 33-10 win, one in which the Saints managed to score their only touchdown in the game until the fourth quarter in front of their fans.
