Less than a week before the start of the NBA season for the Phoenix Suns (they debut against the Clippers on October 24), Kevin Durant stopped by Kay Adams’ microphone on her show ‘Up and Adams’ and addressed several topics, although one in particular surprised everyone.
At one point in the show, Kay Adams touched on the Las Vegas Raiders’ tough time this season, where they’re last in the AFC West with just two wins and four losses. A performance far from what was expected in Sin City.
Taking advantage of the presence of Kevin Durant as their star guest, they talked about the NFL and the Suns player surprised the presenter with his clarity when it came to giving his opinion on the future of the Raiders.
The topic was touched on that the current Raiders team is not good and that a very careful selection must be made during the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft, highlighting that the franchise absolutely needs a player of Tom Brady’s style and quality to regain prestige.
Kevin Durant was clear and made some words that could be prophetic for the Raiders.
“I think the Tom (Brady) and Shedeur Sanders connection would work. I saw Mark Davis (Raiders’ duel) talking to Shedeur at a Las Vegas Aces game a few weeks ago. The Raiders could get a top pick, it seems like they are lining up.”
Tom Brady and Shedeur Sanders have a history of training together, so they know each other perfectly, which would make it easier for the QB, who currently plays for the Colorado Buffaloes, to join the Raiders in 2025.
