The bad relationship between Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman has another chapter to shock fans

Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman led the Chicago Bulls to one of the most dominant runs in NBA history, creating a dynasty that won six championships. Yet, despite their on-court success, their relationships behind the scenes were far from smooth.

Pippen’s issues with Jordan have been well-documented. Over the years, he’s made it clear that there’s no love lost between them, even going so far as to make some controversial claims about his former teammate.

Jordan, for his part, hasn’t shied away from expressing his own opinions on Pippen, cementing the tension between them.

Rodman, however, has managed to stay somewhat neutral in the ongoing feud. While he played a crucial role during the Bulls’ championship years, he has largely been viewed as an outsider in the rivalry between Jordan and Pippen.

He remains a figure who doesn’t seem to be caught up in the drama-making him a perfect source for some entertaining, unbiased insights.

Jordan refused to talk to Rodman

During a interview, Rodman shared a surprising story from his time with the team, claiming that there were two players Jordan flat-out refused to talk to and Rodman was one of them.

While it might seem strange given how crucial Rodman was to the team’s success, it also fits within the complex dynamics of the Bulls‘ roster.

“Well, I think it was important for me to go there and win,” Rodman said.

“Me and Scottie, and Michael, never had a conversation in three years in Chicago. Only time we had a conversation is on the court. That was it. And nobody believes that.

“Only people I had a conversation with was probably Jud Buechler, Randy Brown, Steve Kerr, Luc Longley and other players. But me, Michael, and Scottie, we never had a conversation off the court.”
