The NBA 2024-2025 starts this Tuesday night and the quest for the Larry O’Brien trophy promises to be an exciting journey with some major storylines along the way, including the historic achievement that’s going to happen with the Los Angeles Lakers.
For the first time in NBA history, a father-son duo will be able to take the court together as LeBron James and Bronny James are available for the Lakers opening game against the Minnesota Timberwolves at Crypto.com Arena at 10:00 PM ET.
However, not everyone in the James family is excited about this historic moment, at least not Bryce, the second youngest of LeBron’s kids.
Bryce James is ‘not’ excited about the season opener
Bryce James posted a video on Instagram where he let the world know what he’s most excited about Tuesday night.
“Season opener, everyone’s got their picks. I’m not talking about hoops, I’m talking about the $1.00 pick from Taco Bell. For me, it’s a country taco all the way.” said Bryce.
The second eldest son of the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, LeBron James, probably got some inspiration from his dad. LeBron James loves Taco Tuesday. In 2019, James began sharing videos on Instagram of his family’s taco nights, even making “It’s Taco Tuesday” T-shirts.
Bryce James is currently a shooting guard senior at Sierra Canyon High School, where he played alongside his older brother, Bronny James.
According to scouting reports, Bryce possesses clear shooting potential with naturally soft touch, compact release, and the ability to make both threes and pull-ups.
The young basketball player has received offers from the Ohio State Buckeyes and Duquesne University, and as his high school senior season moves along, he’s probably going to get more offers from top of the line college basketball programs around the nation, so the future is very bright for Bryce.
