The Denver Broncos are in trouble, already somewhat lacking late production from their wide receivers despite getting results, this will not help and of course, the health of their player is the main focus right now.
The team reported on Thursday that Josh Reynolds, suffered two injuries during a shooting outside a nightclub. He is doing well but still this is not an ideal situation for an NFL player.
“Josh Reynolds was the victim of a shooting last Friday in Denver and received treatment for minor injuries. Out of respect for the legal process we will leave comments on this matter in the hands of the authorities,” the team said in a statement.
Investigations are in place
The Denver, Colorado police said that Josh Reynolds and another man were located early morning near South Quebec Street and East Union Avenue after responding to 911 calls requesting support for a shooting outside a nightclub.
According to reports, both of the persons were victims there. The receiver was treated at a local hospital for injuries to his left arm and neck, but the good news is that none of them were serious, the team confirmed.
It is obvious that he will not be playing this upcoming weekend when they face the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. Reynolds joined the Broncos for the 2024 season and in five games he has a total of 183 yards and a touchdown. He has been on injured reserve since Week 6 due to a finger injury.
