With rather modest numbers, Karl-Anthony Towns has gone somewhat unnoticed in his first two games with the New York Knicks. On the contrary, his girlfriend, Jordyn Woods, is catching everyone’s eye, starting with sports stars Angel Reese and Sunisa Lee.
The Knicks’ start to the season has left much to be desired. Although they debuted with a victory over the Charlotte Hornets, they added two losses in a row against the Washington Wizards and the Boston Celtics.
Furthermore, KAT has not been able to influence his team’s performance. So far, the 10-year veteran is averaging 16.5 points, 11 rebounds, and 1.5 assists, far from his career-best averages.
But while Towns is struggling to make it on the court, Woods has been dazzling in the stands and on social media. His latest Instagram post sent fans into a frenzy, starting with WNBA star Angel Reese and Olympic medallist Sunisa Lee.
Jordyn Woods sets the internet ablaze
Reese, the Chicago Sky’s star forward, has stood out for her talent on the court and bold fashion sense. The star rookie can take credit for turning the team’s stadium entrance into a catwalk. However, even she had to bow to Woods’ style.
Jordyn showed off the details of the outfit she wore at Saturday’s game in a carousel of photos on Instagram: a Knicks jacket over a white tank top, a long denim skirt with a high side slit, and a pair of Jimmy Choo Crystal Boots.
Reese was among the first to react to the images, saying “COOKED,” followed by a heart-eyed smiley face. Leecouldn’t resist Woods’ charm either, with a simple but very expressive “OMG,” accompanied by several heart-eyed emojis.
WAGs united
Gabriel Union, a fashion icon in his own right and wife of former NBA star Dwayne Wade, paid tribute to Woods with an expressive “There she is!” accompanied by two glittery heart emojis.
Proving there is no jealousy between WAGs, the wives of Josh Hart and Jalen Brunson-Shannon Philips, and Ali Marks, respectively-also showed their admiration for Woods and the striking outfit she chose for the night.
The result of the game? It seems to take a backseat when the show is in the stands and online thanks to the charm of Jordyn Woods. But if anyone is still interested, the Knicks lost 132-109 to the Celtics.
