Travis Kelce’s ex, Kayla Nicole, ignored the Chiefs’ TE and switched teams to cheer on one of his rivals

Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs are celebrating after a hard-fought victory against their divisional rivals, the Las Vegas Raiders.

The intense rivalry between the two teams always creates a dramatic atmosphere, and this time was no different. Kelce, the Chiefs‘ superstar tight end, played a pivotal role in securing the win.

Meanwhile, Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, was also enjoying some football action, but she chose a different game to attend. Instead of supporting the Chiefs, Nicole was spotted at the San Francisco 49ers vs. Dallas Cowboys game, adding a bit of intrigue to her NFL weekend plans.

Sharing her outing on Instagram with the caption, “It’s my favorite day of the week, Sunday Funday,” Nicole’s decision to attend a rival game raised some eyebrows.

As Kayla Nicole enjoyed the 49ers-Cowboys game, Kelce was busy proving his value on the field.

After a slow start to the season, Kelce finally hit his stride in the Chiefs’ Week 8 matchup against the Raiders. He recorded 10 receptions for 90 yards and his first touchdown of the 2024 season, helping the Chiefs to another victory.

But the highlight of Kelce‘s performance wasn’t just his touchdown; he also made NFL history. With 75 career touchdowns, Kelce now sits in fifth place for the most touchdowns by a tight end in league history.

He already leads all tight ends with 37 100-yard receiving games and seven 1,000-yard seasons, cementing his place among the best to ever play the position.

Chiefs take sweet revenge against the Raiders

The rivalry between the Chiefs and Raiders is always heated, and this week’s game was no exception.

The tension dates back to 2020 when former Raiders coach Jon Gruden took a victory lap around Arrowhead Stadium after a win. The Chiefs responded by winning the next six matchups, and this year’s game gave them a chance for further redemption.

Earlier this year, the Raiders stirred the pot by mocking Kelce and the Chiefs with a Kermit the Frog puppet, an apparent jab at Kelce’s voice. The Chiefs were eager to get their revenge, and the Week 8 game offered that opportunity.

Despite the Raiders keeping the score close through most of the game, the Chiefs pulled away late in the fourth quarter with a field goal and a decisive touchdown.

With a 7-0 record, the Chiefs are looking strong in their quest for a third consecutive Super Bowl title. Kelce, who has shaken off the early-season rust, now looks poised to lead his team deep into the playoffs once again.

While Nicole may have chosen to cheer for a rival game, Kelce’s on-field success continues to dominate the headlines as the Chiefs keep rolling toward another championship.
