Taylor Swift’s show had a problem that she immediately fixed

Taylor Swift proved once again that she’s a true professional, handling an unexpected stage malfunction during her third and final Eras Tour show in New Orleans with grace and style.

During her performance of the 2024 hit “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?” at the Caesars Superdome, Swift encountered an issue with the reflective silver platform, known as the “Tayoomba.”

The platform, which is supposed to move to the beat of the music, suddenly stopped working while Swift sang the line, “So tell me everything is not about me.”

Though the platform failed to function properly, the Grammy winner didn’t miss a step. She continued to sing and dance, while her dancers maintained their performance around the malfunctioning platform.

Swift, 34, smoothly jumped off the “Tayoomba” and danced down the catwalk, allowing her team to remove the platform from the stage without disrupting the performance.

Swift Keeps the Energy High Despite Technical Issues

Even without the platform, Swift delivered a stunning performance of “Down Bad” for the first time, demonstrating her ability to adapt to unexpected changes.

The audience remained captivated as she kept the energy high throughout the rest of the concert, showing no sign that the glitch had affected her.

The concert was one of three shows held in New Orleans on Oct. 25, 26, and 27, as part of Swift‘s highly anticipated Eras Tour.

Although her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, was absent due to his NFL season, Swift’s close friends Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were in attendance for two of the three shows, showing their support and dancing along to her songs.

Swift even gave a subtle nod to Kelce during Friday night’s performance of “Midnight Rain,” mimicking a football throw during the outro, much to the excitement of her fans.

The Eras Tour will continue with three consecutive shows in Indianapolis, starting this Friday, as Swift continues her journey across the U.S.
