The New York Jets got a huge win on Thursday night against the Houston Texans as they secured a 21-13 win as Aaron Rodgers‘ late touchdown pass to Davante Adams sealed the deal.
However, there was one big play before that one that set the tone for the rest of the game. Early in the fourth quarter and with the Texans with a 10-7 lead, Rodgers looked for a sure-hand receiver.
Garrett Wilson was on the receiving end of the play and what a way to do it. He leaped and reached for the ball with one hand and then made and incredible acrobatic move to stay in bounds with his shin and secure a game-leading touchdown.
Not the only great catch at MetLife
Everyone enjoyed this Garrett Wilson catch, but all of the fans remembered another unbelievable grab that happened in that same stadium but on the other end of the field with the other New York team.
Back in 2014, Eli Manning and the Giants were battling the Dallas Cowboys and even though the home had a tough night, a then rookie Odell Beckham Jr. took all the spotlight away.
The Giants signal caller looked for him down field and even when the ball was far in the air, OBJ jumped and reach out for the ball while falling back in the air and make an incredible catch, so the comparison with Wison’s catch is undeniable.
