The Dallas Cowboys need to bounce back quick after what has been so far a disappointing season in the NFL. Of course they need better execution from their players but maybe they could boost up their roster.
The time to make a move soon is now and not only for this season, as a big contract could be on the move. Zack Martin is one of the best in the business, but he is expensive and he might prevent the team from doing other transactions.
He is under contract until the 2025 season and the cap situation would be considered high. He is due to make $15.5 million this season and $10.5 million next year so maybe time to trade him to get good players back.
The analysis to make the roster better
FanSided’s Chris Partee has said that moving Zack Martin away from the Dallas Cowboys would give them cap space to try and sign a few players but also this is the time for a trade.
Other teams will definitely be willing to give high draft picks of the offensive lineman or pretty good players for him. It is only a matter of time for him leave, according to experts and it might be time to pull the trigger.
Time is running out on the Cowboys as a 3-4 record is not going to cut it after losing to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night did not help their cause. Pretty much their best of getting into the playoffs is through a wild card spot as the division looks far away.
