Touring the Riviera’s Elite Estates

Jordan, now 61, reportedly viewed six high-end properties collectively valued at $64 million during a recent vacation with family and friends.

Among these were two standout properties near the Bay of St. Tropez: a $10 million modern home with sprawling gardens and a $13 million residence featuring a Japanese garden and infinity pool described as a “haven of peace.”

One of the most striking properties was a historic $14.3 million mansion in Cote d’Azur. This 19th-century estate, boasting 30 rooms and 14 bedrooms, offers stunning views of the Baie des Anges from its five floors and is listed as a historical monument.

Jordan also visited a $10 million Californian-style villa in Le Cannet, located in the hills near Cannes, and two other properties: a $9.7 million modern home in Grasse and a $6.4 million retreat in Mougins, known for its serene rural charm and medieval chapels.

A New Chapter in the French Riviera?

An insider close to the real estate dealings revealed that Jordan has a deep connection to the region, frequently visiting for vacations.

“He’s enamored with the area, especially the slower pace of life compared to the U.S.,” the source shared. Jordan reportedly requested the viewings during his travels along the Mediterranean coast, even stopping in Monaco.

Privacy and tranquility are key factors for Jordan as he evaluates potential homes. “He’s drawn to places where he can enjoy time with family and friends, far from the public eye,” the source added. “He loved all the properties and is genuinely excited about investing in one of the most prestigious locations in the world.”

Adding to a Stellar Portfolio

Jordan’s interest in the French Riviera comes on the heels of selling his majority stake in the Charlotte Hornets for over $2 billion in 2023. In addition to his legacy as a basketball superstar, Jordan has built a diverse portfolio of investments, including the Jordan Brand, a NASCAR team, and 23XI Racing.

Should he decide to purchase one of these Riviera properties, it would be yet another feather in the cap of a man whose business acumen rivals his athletic achievements.

While it remains unclear if Jordan plans to permanently relocate or simply acquire a luxurious vacation home, his exploration of these elite estates showcases his continued pursuit of an elevated lifestyle.
