The battle for the NFL’s National Football Conference East Division will be focused on two teams, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Commanders, who kicked off Week 11, where the Eagles won 26-18.
This victory did not sit well with Washington fans, a situation that quarterback Jalen Hurts took advantage of to mock one of the personalities who sympathizes with the team from the U.S. capital.
Against the Commanders, Hurts achieved a balanced attack by throwing for 221 yards, in addition to the team’s impressive 228 rushing yards, but not only was Washington the ideal victim for the player, but also Scott Van Pelt, an ESPN journalist.
Hurts’ dart to Scott Van Pelt
After the Thursday Night Football game, Hurts spoke to ESPN’s cameras and took the opportunity to mock Van Pelt, who was in the studio.
“Hello Scott, how do you feel? How do you feel? You are an employee of the Department of Vehicle Control.”
The ESPN host showed serenity and even good humor, mentioning that the Commanders and Eagles will meet once again, possibly for the NFC East title.
