Tom Brady is to many experts and fans the greatest quarterback of all time and one of the most influential athletes ever with his legacy and accomplishments being second to none.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion (six with the New England Patriots and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers) is thriving as Fox Sports Lead NFL Analyst and fresh off becoming a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.
His new role allows him to spend time with his kids and enjoy some major sports events such as basketball games and he did just that Friday night when he was courtside at Madison Square Garden for the game between the New York Knicks and the Brooklyn Nets.
When the camera caught him courtside, Tom Brady waved at the crowd as play-by-play announcer Kenny Albert pointed out the NFL legend’s mixed history with New York sports teams. “Tormented the Jets for many years, although the Giants beat him twice in the Super Bowl.” added Albert.
Brady was in good spirit and he even signed a football and then proceeded to throw it at a nearby fan. Being the perfectionist that he is, he knew he could do another throw and he decided to nail a dime to a fan who was sitting several rows behind him. The crowd loved every minute of it.
Brady also got introduced to MSG Network analyst and NBA legend Walt “Clyde” Frazier”. As for the game, the Knicks came up with the victory 124-122 with an impressive performance by guard Jalen Brunson who had 37 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds.
Tom Brady is between a rock and a hard place
Tom Brady is facing the most important crossroads of his life. Since his retirement, the former NFL star has divided his efforts between a career as an analyst and a role as a franchise owner. The beginning of this adventure seemed promising for Brady; however, insiders assure that he will soon have to decide between his two jobs.
He hasn’t stopped making headlines despite it being two years since his retirement. Toward the end of 2023, Brady announced that he had signed a $375 million deal to become a Fox Sports analyst.
Recently, the NFL owners’ board approved the former New England Patriots quarterback’s request to become a minority shareholder of the Las Vegas Raiders. However, insiders say the NFL is concerned about these two roles, as they could lead to a conflict of interest.
