While Dak Prescott has suffered a season-ending hamstring injury, a joyful moment has emerged in his family. Dak’s brother, Tad Prescott, and his wife, Holly, welcomed their second child, bringing much-needed happiness during difficult times.
Tad shared the exciting news on social media, posting a heartfelt tribute to his wife. Accompanying a photo of Holly, he expressed his gratitude.
“This beautiful woman and wife of mine just blessed me with another baby boy. I Love you,” he wrote.
He also revealed the name of their newborn son, Bear Valrie Prescott, and shared a glimpse of the baby-hiding his face with a bear emoji.
This latest addition to the Prescott family joins their first child, Mak, born in 2021, and Holly’s daughter, Addy.
The growing family’s happiness serves as a bright spot for Dak, who shares a close bond with his brother and will undoubtedly find solace in this joyful news as he recovers from his injury.
Cowboys dealing with injuries
The Cowboys‘ season, meanwhile, has been plagued by setbacks, with several key players sidelined due to injuries, including Trevon Diggs and Zack Martin.
Their struggle to stay competitive has left their playoff hopes hanging by a thread, adding stress to an already difficult year.
“It’s been a tough year personally with my emotions because it’s a roller coaster,” Prescott said.
“It’s truly been ups and downs. I would say riding a wave I’m constantly preaching about not riding.
“Off the field, it’s been some of the most joyous times I ever could have imagined, dreamed of. Having a child, getting engaged, starting a family. But then on the football field, it’s probably been as tough of a season as I’ve ever had. I’d probably say the toughest.”
