It seems that things in Las Vegas are headed down south and we are not talking about the road itself, as the Raiders don’t look good and even his head coach is now recognizing it public in a bad way.
Antonio Pierce was very clear on what he thinks of his team right before his team will play on a very anticipated matchup but because of the date more so than the game itself, as they will play the Kansas City Chiefs on Black Friday.
“Let’s call a spade a spade, the best team in football against the worst team in football,” Pierce said on Wednesday. “Let’s change the narrative. Let’s go out there and make it a dogfight, let’s make it ugly, let’s make it scrappy.
Some motivation at the end
The Las Vegas Raiders sit in last place in the AFC West Division and not only that, at 2-9 they have the same record as the Jacksonville Jaguars and the New York Giants, so things are not good.
With that said, it seemed that head coach Antonio Pierce looked for motivation for this upcoming game against the defending Super Bowl champions. “It’s Black Friday, let’s create a little chaos, let’s get back to Raider football and have some fun and some personality. Let it loose.”
During Wednesday’s press conference he was very sincere in what he believes but has the idea of attacking a team that they have beaten before and they have their quarterback. “We feel good about Aidan (O’Connell). He’s been dialed in,” Pierce said, per Pro Football Talk. “Obviously throughout this time he’s been on IR, he’s been in all the meetings; he’s been very encouraging on the sideline. He has that laser eye focus right now. Great opportunity for him.”
